Pre DElEd BSTC Rajasthan 2026: Comprehensive Admission Guide

Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, is inviting online applications for admission to the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) General and Sanskrit courses through the Pre DElEd (BSTC) Examination 2026. This is a crucial opportunity for aspiring teachers in Rajasthan to secure a place in various teacher training institutions across the state. Eligible and interested male and female candidates can apply online via the official portal, predeledraj2026.com, from December 2nd, 2025, to December 31st, 2025.

BSTC 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the Higher Secondary Examination or an equivalent examination for the UR category. For all other categories, a minimum of 45% marks is required.

Note: Applicants who have appeared or are appearing in the Higher Secondary Examination in the year 2026 are also eligible to apply. However, they must fulfill all eligibility conditions by the time of counseling.

Age Limit:

The age of the applicant should not exceed 28 years as of the examination date.

Pre DElEd 2025 Rajasthan Syllabus and Test Pattern

The examination pattern comprises four sections:

• Mental Ability: 50 Questions (Maximum Marks 150)

  Topics include: Reasoning, Analogy, Discrimination, Relationship, Analysis, Logical Thinking.

• General Awareness of Rajasthan: 50 Questions (Maximum Marks 150)

  Topics include: Historical Aspect, Political Aspect, Art, Culture and Literature Aspect, Economic Aspect, Geographical Aspect, Folk Life, Social Aspect, Tourism Aspect.

• Teaching Aptitude: 50 Questions (150 Marks)

  Topics include: Teaching Learning, Leadership Quality, Creativity, Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation, Communication Skills, Professional Attitude, Social Sensitivity.

• Language Ability: 50 Questions (150 Marks)
  • English: 20 Questions (60 Marks)

    Topics include: Comprehension, Spotting Errors, Narration, Prepositions, Articles, Connectives, Correction of Sentences, Kind of Sentences, Sentence Completion, Tense, Vocabulary, Synonym, Antonym, One Word Substitution, Spelling Errors.

  • Sanskrit: 30 Questions (90 Marks) – For candidates opting for the Sanskrit DElEd course.

    Topics include: स्वर, व्यंजन (उच्चारण स्थान), शब्द रूप (अकारान्त पुल्लिंग, अकरान्त स्त्रीलिंग, नपुंसक लिंग), धातुरूप (लट्लकार, लोटलकार, लड्. लकार एवं विधिलिंगलकार), उपसर्ग एवं प्रत्यय, संधि (स्वर, व्यंजन एवं विसर्ग संधि), समास (तत्पुरूष, द्विगु एवं कर्मधारय समास), लिंग एवं वचन, विभक्तियां एवं कारक ज्ञान।

  • OR Hindi: 30 Questions (90 Marks)

    Topics include: शब्द ज्ञान – पर्यायवाची शब्द, विलोम शब्द, युग्म शब्द, वाक्य विचार, शुद्धिकरण (शब्द शुद्धि एवं वाक्य शुद्धि), मुहावरे एवं कहावतें, संधि, समास, उपसर्ग, प्रत्यय, वाक्यांश के लिए एक सार्थक शब्द।

Pre DElEd BSTC Documents Uploading Instruction 2026

Candidates are required to scan and upload the following documents in JPG/JPEG format:

• Latest passport size colour photograph (maximum 100 KB)
• Thumb impression (maximum 100 KB)
• Signature (maximum 100 KB)

Additionally, candidates should be prepared to provide the following documents at the time of application or counseling:

• Secondary and Higher Secondary mark sheets and certificates
• Reservation certificate (if applicable)
• Sub-category certificate (e.g., widow/divorced/disabled/ex-servicemen/TADA Saharia etc., if applicable)
