The National Testing Agency (NTA) is opening the correction window for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 today, December 1, 2025. Candidates who have applied for JEE Main 2026 and wish to make corrections to their application forms can now do so.
JEE Main 2026 Application Correction Window Details
The application process for JEE Main 2026 has concluded. The correction window will be open from December 1, 2025, and will remain accessible until 11:50 PM on December 2, 2025. Students can make corrections on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main Session 1 exam is scheduled to take place between January 21 and 30, 2026.
Note that changes to details related to marks and state code of eligibility will not be permitted. The NTA has allowed candidates to change their preferred exam city; however, the final exam center will be determined based on the permanent or current address and seat availability. Approximately 14.50 lakh students have applied for JEE Main this year, including around 60,000 from Bihar.
Permitted Corrections
Candidates can correct their name, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, category, and sub-category. Additionally, corrections can be made to Class 10 and 12 academic information, state code of eligibility, medium of examination, and paper options.
If the signature uploaded is incorrect, it can also be rectified. However, certain information cannot be changed. Candidates will not be able to modify their mobile number, email ID, current and permanent address, emergency contact details, or previously uploaded photographs.
How to Correct JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Application Form
- Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the “JEE Mains 2026 January Session Application Correction” link on the homepage.
- Log in using your application number and password.
- Make the necessary corrections to your application form.
- Pay the correction fees, if applicable.
- Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
Exam Languages and Schedule
JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
The NTA will conduct JEE Main 2026 in two sessions: January and April. The JEE Main 2026 January exam is tentatively scheduled to be held between January 21 and January 30, 2026.
